GeoPark provided an online information session July 17 for media professionals and press and institutional relations leaders from public and private sector organizations, mainly from Chile’s Magallanes Region and other areas of the country.
The ‘Introduction to Energy and Hydrocarbons’ workshop was led by Fernando Halperin, a trainer and consultant at the Argentine Institute of Oil & Gas (IAPG). Topics covered included types of deposits, the energy sector and power generation, renewable and non-renewable energy sources and energy scenarios, as well as exploration, production, treatment, transport and commercialization.
