GeoPark stands by its Neighbors in the Public Health Emergency

Casanare, Colombia. June 30, 2021 – Since the public health emergency started GeoPark has worked hand in hand with local institutions in Casanare to contribute to the health and wellbeing of our neighbors.

Part of this joint work was our recent delivery of a medicinal liquid oxygen cylinder, 130m³ oxygen refills and other medical supplies to Tauramena hospital. We hope that this donation helps strengthen this important hospital so that it can continue to provide quality and timely service during the Covid-19 public health emergency.

“We are grateful to GeoPark for its contribution and commitment to the health of the inhabitants of Tauramena,” hospital Administrator Ximena Moreno Ruiz said “This contribution will allow patients with respiratory difficulties to access the oxygen they need for their rehabilitation therapies, and will also help our workers to protect their integrity through the use of the appropriate protection elements,” she added.

As a good neighbor of Tauramena, GeoPark will continue supporting and leading initiatives like this to contribute to the fight against Covid-19 and pool efforts to guarantee the wellbeing of Casanare people in this emergency.
