Puerto Asis, Putumayo. October 20, 2021 –To help strengthen local institutions, La nueva Amerisur has completed building improvements and the furnishing of Puerto Asis Health Department facilities and has also donated biomedical equipment to the municipal hospital.
The Department headquarters has 50 staff, and the improvements reinforce the provision of health services to over 67,000 people who live in the municipality. The biomedical equipment donated to the local hospital of Puerto Asis will increase the medical care capacity to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the community in general that uses the hospital’s services.
The company Puerto Asis Abita Construcciones y Disenos carried out the building improvements.
