We contributed to the fourth visit to Puerto Asis by the medical team of the Colombian Civil Air Patrol (PAC), when 20 medical professionals gave specialized health services to more than 340 people free of charge.
As part of our ongoing work to promote good neighborliness and strengthen the relationship of trust with our communities, this month we celebrated Children’s Day in our Espejo Block in Ecuador’s Sucumbios province. More than 700 children from six neighboring communities took part in a day of happiness, games and moments to remember.
To reinforce road safety and promote the use of clean technologies by transport companies specialized in the hydrocarbon industry in Arauca, Casanare and Magdalena departments, we held the II Transporters’ Forum in Yopal on August 14-15 together with Parex. The event brought together more than 150 leaders and professionals in the transport of dry cargo, crude oil, and gas.
We partnered with the Colombian Civil Air Patrol (PAC) to hold two medical brigades in Villanueva and Tauramena, Casanare, in the first half of 2024, benefiting more than 1,200 people. The partnership has now held 13 brigades in Casanare department since 2017
Our operations in the Llanos 34 Block have returned to normal after blockades affecting access
To promote dialogue, citizen participation and greater access to information on the company’s operational, social, environmental and contracting performance in the first half of 2024
We express our rejection of the blockades that have affected access routes to our operations around the town of Tauramena since last Monday. These actions led by a small group of people have persisted despite efforts by us as well as institutions to promote dialogue.
We have worked enthusiastically, committedly and closely with our neighbors, local authorities and institutions in Casanare to strengthen our relationship of Good Neighborliness.
The COP 16: Nature and Business pre-meeting commended our contributions to knowledge about Colombia’s biodiversity
We want to be the preferred neighbor and partner, based on a sustainable relationship of learning, exchange and mutual benefit with the local communities where we operate.
