We express our rejection of the blockades that have affected access routes to our operations around the town of Tauramena since last Monday. These actions led by a small group of people have persisted despite efforts by us as well as institutions to promote dialogue.
We have worked enthusiastically, committedly and closely with our neighbors, local authorities and institutions in Casanare to strengthen our relationship of Good Neighborliness.

We are pleased to announce that we have recently joined CERES, Ecuador’s largest social responsibility and sustainable development network.
The green classroom measures over 100 m², is sustainably designed and incorporates natural and recycled materials such as natural stones and pipes previously used in drilling oil wells.
We partnered with the Colombian Civil Air Patrol (PAC) to organize a medical-surgical brigade in Puerto Lopez for the second time, when in coordination with the local Mayor’s Office and hospital 50 health professionals attended more than 600 people.
We won first place among 60 projects in the Climate Change and Decarbonization Management and Implementation of Circularity Models categories, and were finalists in the Partnerships for Sustainable Development category.
Acknowledging the importance of road infrastructure for regional progress and for our neighboring communities, we voluntarily committed over 12 billion pesos to repair a 17.5 km section of the road, one of Villanueva’s most strategic routes.
The Agency for Territorial Renewal (ART), together with the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Mines and Energy, has approved four projects to promote the development of three municipalities in Casanare that we will finance through the Works for Taxes program.
We want to be the preferred neighbor and partner, based on a sustainable relationship of learning, exchange and mutual benefit with the local communities where we operate.
