The unique transformative power of music can touch hearts, open minds and build bridges to future possibilities. This can be clearly seen in the partnership between the Batuta National Foundation and La nueva Amerisur in Puerto Asis, where through its achievements the Aranzales Villegas Symphonic Music Center marked a before and after moment in its history.
We have given 412 high-quality musical instruments and elements to the municipality of Villanueva, Casanare, to help set up the Municipal Symphonic Band.
We have been acknowledged as a socially responsible company by CERES, Ecuador’s largest network of social responsibility and sustainability organizations. This distinction highlights the quality of the socio-environmental practices implemented by the Company in its operations in the country.
To promote the well-being of our neighboring communities, we have provided a playground in the village of Pinalito Alto, in Tauramena, Casanare department.
As part of our commitment to improve our neighbors’ quality of life, we have donated computer items and therapeutic equipment to the Tauramena Integral Employment Center to support people with disabilities.
With enthusiasm and commitment, we have worked closely with neighbors, local authorities and institutions in Sucumbios in the first semester of the year to strengthen our relationship of Good Neighborliness
Peace is essential for sustainable development. In one of the regions most affected by conflict in Colombia, GeoPark partnered with the Javeriana University of Cali’s Institute of Intercultural Studies to run the Putumayo Soñado project, which aims to transform territory through dialogue, reconciliation and inclusive development.
Committed to promoting the sustainable development and well-being of our neighboring communities, we have proudly donated connectivity kits to 30 families in Punta del Guira, Casanare to improve their living conditions and significantly enhance their digital inclusion.
We are all responsible for caring for the environment and preserving wildlife. One of the ways we do this is avoiding animal deaths on roads, which seriously affect Colombia’s biological diversity.
We want to be the preferred neighbor and partner, based on a sustainable relationship of learning, exchange and mutual benefit with the local communities where we operate.
