Tauramena, Casanare. July 12, 2022 – To promote women’s welfare in Tauramena, with the Mayor’s Office, the Women’s Advisory Council and the Council of Tauramena this year we held the inaugural women’s run in the municipality.
On Sunday, July 3 over 500 people ran 3 kilometers to honor and support women’s welfare in the municipality. The Tauramena women that took the first three places finished in around 8 minutes.
“The 3K Women’s Run was a total success, with the important support and participation of empowered, brave and inspiring women who took part in this sports day to reaffirm their rights and promote their health and the importance of care,” the municipality’s Social Manager Diana Millares said.
This type of initiative reiterates our commitment to contribute to the health, welfare and quality of life of our neighboring communities.
